Checking the weather before a run
Does anyone else out there find themselves checking the net the night before a long run in order to decide what to wear or when to run? If so, here's a cool weather tool that will help you figure out the weather along the route you run at the time you run: Weather Bonk - Weather For Your Route.
I've been using Weather Bonk for a number of months now to check weather in my area and when I go on trips. I love the Google Maps, weather, webcam, mash-up. Weather Bonk has had the weather along a route tool for quite some time but it has only been recently that they added the "running" speed variable into the mix.
Give it a try!

Thanks for the tip! This is great. Just back from a 17-miler this morning in DC. Sunny, but chilly! Feeling v tired.

Very cool. I usually just stick my head out the door on the day, and go anyway....
